What are the different areas of Maintenance?
This section provides for the ability to assign programs and related services to students en masse in lieu of entering data one student at a time. This is particularly helpful in the beginning of the school year, or when entering data for first time use.
To mass assign, the user must complete all the required fields on the mass entry screen, then continue on to pick the appropriate students for which the assignment should be made. Data can be inputted en masse for either:
Programs and ESY Programs: A student will not appear as a candidate for selection if he/she is not an active student, does not have an IEP in the current school year, or if he/she already has a program for the specified date range.
Related Services and ESY Related Services: A student will not appear as a candidate for selection if he/she is not an active student, or does not have an IEP in the current school year.
When a bundled program is added en masse the appropriate related services will be automatically added for the student as well based on the bundling specifications for that program.
When related services are added en masse, the system will attempt to build an association between each student’s existing program (if applicable) and newly added related service. If when adding a related service en masse the system recognizes that a student has two programs entered into a single school year for the same billing district, the user will be prompted to build the association between that student’s program and related service manually.
