How do I use the Related Services Section?
It is not uncommon for students to change from one related service to another during the school year. When this happens, and because different related services have varying hourly billing rates, all changes in related services are tracked closely by the system, and the billing is adjusted when necessary.
Dropping a Related Service, and not adding another: If a student drops a Related and does not pick up a one, simply update the related service end date to the actual date the student stopped receiving the service.
Dropping one related service but adding another: To drop a student from one related service and add a new one, simply update the end date of the existing related service to reflect the date that the student ended the first related service. After that has been done, add in the new related service, and specify the first day that the student began receiving that related service. If the student changed related services in a month that was already billed, adjustments will be calculated and issued automatically.
