How can I make Adjustments to a Prior Month's Bill?
To access the current month’s adjustments, select the “Adjustments” navigation option from within the Billing section. To add a new adjustment manually to the system, click the “Add” button. When no adjustments exist for the current month, the add screen will appear automatically. To introduce an adjustment to the system manually, the following information must be provided:
Student Name: Choose the student that requires the adjustment.
Program/Related Service: Decide if the adjustment is for a program or related service, and then later choose the exact program or service that requires the adjustment.
Adjustment Direction: Indicate whether the adjustment will be a credit or debit.
Billing District: Select the billing district that should receive the adjustment.
Adjustment Period: Select the date range that necessitated the adjustment.
Description of Adjustment: Memorialize the reason for the adjustment.
After the adjustment information has been entered, a recommended adjustment amount will be provided based on the tuition amount, hourly billing rate, and the affected date range. The recommended amount can be accepted, or a different amount can be entered before submitting the information as a new adjustment.
