What are the computer requirements for using BOCES Direct?

• Browser:  Microsoft Internet Explorer version 6.0 is recommended

• Operating System:  Microsoft Windows 98 or higher, Mac 8.x or 9.x

• Hardware:  Pentium II processor, 128MB RAM is recommended (minimum requirement 64MB RAM)

• Connection:  Reliable, fast, and always on connection

• Software:  Microsoft Office 97 or higher for staff that will print letters

• The ability to download and install an Active X control in order to be able to print from the browser.
